Stars

I am suddenly obsessed with this song. It's called "Stars" by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. I absolutely love it. It has kind of a different meaning for me then it does for the artist. For her, it hurts too much to look at the stars because it reminds of her of someone. For me, the stars a sort of a comfort. I know that wherever someone that I'm missing is at, if they are here on earth or up in Heaven with our Heavenly Father, I can always look at the stars and know that they are looking at the same ones. I like to believe that each star is an angel, watching over us. So if you have lost someone you love, just pick a star, any star, and that can be your angel that you are missing. It really brings me comfort. And if you are missing family, friends, or anyone else, remember that they could be looking at the same stars. This is why I love stars. There's also a quote I love that says "Stars can't shine without darkness" So that's it, just wanted to share my little obsession with stars :) Love you and enjoy this crazy dance of life.

"Stars" by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals

I lit a fire with the love you left behind,
And it burned wild and crept up the mountainside.
I followed your ashes into outer space
I can't look out the window,
I can't look at this place,

I can't look at the stars,
They make me wonder where you are
Stars,
Up on heaven's boulevard
And if I know you at all,
I know you've gone too far
So I, I can't look at the stars

All those times we looked up at the sky,
Looking out so far,
We felt like we could fly.
And now I'm all alone in the dark of night,
The moon is shining,
But I can't see the light,
And I can't look at the

Stars,
They make me wonder where you are
Stars,
Up on heaven's boulevard
And if I know you at all,
I know you've gone too far
So I, I can't look at the stars

Stars,
Stars,
They make me wonder where you are
Stars,
Up on heaven's boulevard
And if I know you at all,
I know you've gone too far
So I can't look at the stars.

Love,
Hannah
